Responsibilities:

• Develop business strategies to identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Engineering sector.

• Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential customers and partners.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including potential clients, partners, and investors.

• Develop and present compelling proposals and presentations to win new business.

• Negotiate contracts and terms with clients and partners.

• Willingness to travel to client sites and represent the company at industry events and conferences.

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.

• Lead the creation of standard operating procedures, work templates and documentations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, engineering or a related field (HNC and HND are also considered).

• At least 2 years of experience in business development or sales within the engineering industry.

• Experience working with start-ups, growing and small business.

• Strong understanding of the Nigerian market and business landscape.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Proficiency in Google Workspace (Drive, Docs, Sheets etc).

• Fluency in English (other languages desirable).

You will be involved in the hands-on creation, testing, and refinement of engineering designs, helping to turn ideas into reality. Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the design and development of engineering solutions, including mechanical, electrical, and/or software components.

• Create and modify 2D/3D CAD models and drawings using SolidWorks.

• Support the development of prototypes and refine designs based on test results.

• Contribute to the design, development and integration of embedded systems using platforms such as Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and other microcontroller-based boards.

• Build and test prototypes, integrating hardware components (sensors, circuits, etc.) and writing code for functionality.

• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving design and technical issues.

• Collaborate with the team to ensure designs meet project requirements, budgets, and deadlines.

• Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturing partners to ensure designs are produced to specifications.

• Contribute to the creation of standard operating procedures, work templates and documentations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, aerospace, electrical and electronics engineering, or related fields (HNC and HND are also considered).

• 1-2 years of experience in engineering design, embedded systems, or related fields.

• Familiarity with embedded systems platforms like Arduino, Raspberry Pi, or similar microcontroller boards.

• Proficiency in SolidWorks CAD software.

• Use sketching to visualize and communicate ideas, solutions, and concepts for new designs and systems.

• A basic understanding of engineering principles and design processes.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.

• Willingness to learn, grow, and take on new challenges.

• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

• Experience with SolidWorks rendering is a plus but not necessary.

• Experience of material selection and/or manufacturing techniques is a plus but not necessary.
